Drill String Services provides a wide range of machine shop services, including CNC threading; sub manufacturing; machine refacing; bead blasting; zinc phosphate or copper sulfate plating; and tubing and casing repair.

Drill String Services’ machine shops are equipped with Mazak Powermaster N hollow spindle lathes, which are designed exclusively for the oil and gas industry, and can handle material up to 14 inches in diameter and 120 inches in length.

Drill String uses an API-registered quality management system to ensure the highest quality standards in the manufacturing and remanufacturing process, in addition to following ISO 9001:2008 requirements.

As an authorized TenarisHydril Repair Facility, Drill String Services is licensed to cut TenarisHydril connections.
