Patented Integral Blade Downhole Wash Tool

Drill String Services has created an innovative tool to effectively and safely clean borehole equipment. Drill String’s patented integral blade downhole wash tool may be used to clean the subsea marine riser, blowout preventer (BOP), subsea wellhead, wear bushing, nominal bore protector and casing hanger profile. This uniquely designed tool provides many advantages over traditional straight-blade wash tools. Its solid construction uses spiral blades to minimize missed areas and improve cleaning speed. The tapered blade places the wash nozzle opposite the retrieving profile of the flexible metallic conduit bore protector. There are nine jets located in the blades, all of which are interchangeable to maximize hydraulics. This integral blade downhole wash tool is designed to provide 360-degree wash area coverage without having to rotate the pipe and manage high flow rates.		click to enlarge
