About Drill String Services, Inc.
A member of the American Petroleum Institute (API), Drill String Services, Inc. (DSSI) has been in business since 1989. Originally serving only Louisiana, the company has grown to service locations in Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Colorado as well as offshore locations. In 1994, we opened our second location in Victoria, TX giving us another prime spot on the Gulf Coast. DSSI is continually seeking opportunities to expand its geographical service areas.
From our small beginnings, DSSI has expanded not only our reach, but our array of products and services. Currently we offer the manufacturing of drilling components, drill pipe inspection, CNC lathe machining, hardbanding and ultrasonic pipe inspection using the newest technology and up-to-date machinery. Our team of specialists includes skilled operators and certified NDT inspectors to ensure quality service and efficiency on every project. We are dedicated to offering the best quality service at an affordable price.
Our Locations
DSSI maintains two physical locations in the heartland of the oilfield industry to better service our customers.Amelia, LA – Our Amelia location, just off the Intracoastal Waterway, sits on seven acres of land and serves as our corporate office and business headquarters. In addition, this location offers dockside service and is a licensed TenarisHydril repair facility.
Victoria, TX – Our Victoria location is located just off of Highway 59, one hour south of Houston. Also sitting on seven acres, this location accommodates ample pipe storage, CNC machining and manufacturing equipment.
